Hi, my name is Ferry!
I’m a product and project manager with a focus on business process design and a bias to action. Through years of cross-functional work in early to mid stage startups, I’ve developed the ability to balance desirability, feasibility and viability of improvements and new initiatives. Telling the urgent from the important, reframing problems, tying priorities back to company goals, leading and motivating project teams and managing stakeholders effectively are some of my key strengths. And I make bad jokes, too.

It was a coincidence in 2010 that first got me in touch with “ERP systems”, working for a Berlin based eCommerce startup at the time and being 100% clueless about what this acronym even meant. I’ve since implemented 3 ERPs end to end (Microsoft Navision, Epicor, Oracle Fusion Cloud) and other pieces of enterprise software, which came with all the painful learnings. Trust me, I’m not passionate about these systems (who ever could be, and at the end of the day it’s just a means to an end), but I truly enjoy managing various pieces of work across the organization to create a logical and consistent big picture. Personally, I like to forget about “the system” and instead focus on what you’re actually doing when buying (or building) such a solution: you are effectively redesigning the way people work together to fulfill your company’s mission.
